halo CE into a school, need help pulling off!!!!

Okay so hears the deal
Lan games are popular at my school. It started with everyone playing armegetron when one kid brought it into the school and hid it in a drive. Then suddenly counter strike popped up and that became a hit with everyone. I wana take it to the next level and get halo into the school hidden.
A few things
can you run plain halo Custom edition without the regular version of halo combat evolved being installed ever on that computer?
does halo CE require a Key if you can just install it without a sign of combat evolved on the computer (im guessing it does)
Theres a lan drive on the computer that all the teacher normally put their work on. Students can access this drive normally from any computer in the school. This is where the previous LAN games were being stored because the kids could simply log on anywhere, open up the game, and connect with a lan party going on somewhere in the school
The thing is none of these games required key codes to access online play (I dont know if ce requires a key code for LAN
)
I dont know how to go about making the Folder so kids can just open up the game and start playing
I was thinking a cracked version of halo CE?
or maybe the regular version with a keygen included
if anyone can help me out and knows how I should do this, please let me know
