Halo 3 Spiker (Texturing)

I have started to texture my Halo 3 spiker. Bare in mind that this is my first texture so It is not going to be perfect. Also I have not used any tutorials.
I've already seen this at other forums, but I would jest like to say it's about time you took it in your own interest to do it yourself. Looks like you got a talent there.
Btw, Ilike how it's a bit more worn on the contact edges.
