Hey there peeps
I've pulled an interest for Halo PC modding, and just noticed that, yes yes, there is indeed a difference in CE modding lol.

So i've come from the land of the Halo PC forums to ask, what's the difference.

Is Modding in CE better, more flexible?? What can it do over PC??
ooh, and what tools are used.

Peace 8)

The Halo CE (Custom Edition) version isn't exactly modding, it allows you to create your own custom things such as levels, vehicles, weapons, and characters. You use the HEK (Halo Editing Kit) which includes a guide that can help you get started and the tools that you need to create things in Halo CE.

Well you can mod in CE, like you do in PC (modding bloodgulch, sidewinder, chill out, etc.). You just use different tools, and there's a lot more possibilities out there. So if you aren't much into mapping, yes you can mod using HEK.

but take not...Mods in hek with no custom content classify you as a noob. (most the time)
