[WIP] A custom single player mission

Alrighty,

I'm gonna give you guys a sneak peak to my current project, which is sadly still nameless. I'll get right down to business and show some screenies.

Note that the sequence in which the mission plays out is subject to change, for example, the scenario described below will in fact not be the way the mission starts when it's done.

Scenario:
So you'll start out assaulting a covenant controlled forerunner structure:

It will be a tough uphill battle:

After you clear the area:

You will get reinforcements, including stationary gun turrets! The covenant will unleash a strong counter though, including banshees (not in pic though):

Well that's it for the first glimpse at the mission, obviously the mesh you see here is not final, and is being upgraded as you read this. This is a big project and I still expect this to take at least another half year to finish.

In the mean time, please post constructive criticism and suggestions!

While the bsp is quite awful at the moment, I like the scenario you have laid out. Looks like it could be pretty fun. The layout you have for the bsp looks decent from what i can see but just needs some better detail, also stud forerunner architecture a little more cause what you have doesn't really resemble it much.

A proper custom sky please? All the ones I see are crap. Yes, I have an obsession with skies, rawr rar ra....

By the way, this looks really good. A new BSp would be nice as well. :)

If you looked this is a new bsp it is custom...
Looks good so far but as said more detail would be nice.

Whats BSP??? But anyways I think it's gonna come out great in the end and I'm gonna download it as soon as i get the chance!! Great job!

So far only one mission is planned in this well err story thing. The story still needs to be worked out a bit.

I appreciate the comments, I'll look into that custom sky think (this one was just a placeholder btw) and the BSP will surely still be iterated several times and expanded upon.

Also I recently partnered up with someone, so perhaps it may be finished sooner then I originally had foreseen.

looks like a good scenario although i personally prefer my battles to have more elite than marines. you may want to reduce the number that help you.

scenario looks great. bsp not so much. the base doesn't even look like forerunner design.
