i get that everytime i try to compile any sound. i type:

tool sounds sound\music\music\AIHB ogg 1

the sound is saved as WAV PCM in sound\music\music\AIHB\AIHB.wav

any ideas?

The libraries for OGGVorbis encoding included with the HEK are outdated. Download this and it should fix your problem.

Also, here's a pointer: make sure the wavelength of your source sound is 44khz. Anything else will cause some unpredictable results when compiled.
