Ok, don't blast blender, trust me, it OWNS GMAX. And actualy, in some respects owns 3ds max (you know espescialy on cost). So for someone who can't blow that much $ on software, blender kicks ass. Ok i'm done

or you could wait a day or two and get the gmax plugin that xzzy is making (mad props to him) just search google for: gmax blitzkrieg
clcik the spartania.net and go to the gearbox post from their site to read up on his progress!!

well, you can export to obj, and from there... idk, somehow max 4/5/6, then hek!
