HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I just got HEK and it rocks! I am using a tutorial for it to creat a custom map and then insert it into my normal verson of halo. It does not write over a current map, but instead is call Tutorial or something close to that. I also installed the Library MP level made by someone on this site, which rewrites one of the levels. There is a UI, whatever that means, which shows a pic of the level. how would I take a pic of my new level and input it for my custom made level. I hope this makes sense. is there something that will allow me to take a pic, with out actually playing, so the halo game crosshairs dont show up in the pic. and how would I put a description of the level, like all the other MP levels have. Sorry its long, but i want to find out the first time and not have to keep explaning my prob.

Okay.
First, HEK made maps won't run on HaloPC retail, only HaloCE. And HaloCE doesn't support descriptions and pics for maps. You could replace the custom map picture with your's, but every custom map you download will show your map's picture.
As for Halo PC, you'd have to replace a map and then just extract and edit the bitmap using HMT and Photoshop. And for screenshots, just add -screenshots to the command line and take it. You might have to edit the crosshair pic in HMT.
