Yay another first post by me lol..

I can't wait for CE! 60% faster shaders is going to give my performance of 70-90 fps such a boost!

Let us hope that the people who are going to make maps take performance into consideration...otherwise, this is going to bring it down...bad maps all over the place etc.

I bet that dumber people will try to inject guns with thousands of verts, then they get in the game and wonder why it goes so slow

then they will come to this forum and ask how to fix it

Nothing really can be done about new people, we will always have them...

These problems can only be prepared for, not really solved

lol just to rub it in I have 2mb at the mo, but my ISP is going to upgrade me and other customers to 3mb just because we've been loyal

i got 2 mb/s. its pretty fast but ive only got a Radeon 9200. i think i need to upgrade. will the fast shaders improve my ping and stuff? or will it only help with gameplay?

Gameplay will seem smoother, so you will only recieve delay, many people commonly mistake warping for lag, lag is a moment where the game freezes so you can catch up to the server, delay is just the time it takes for your shot to register on all clients, its distance = time in milliseconds your data takes to reach the server and back to you....and others.

Delay will always be there, lag is symbolised by that little modem icon with a red X on it...

Some slowdowns and jittery and random fps rates should be solved, as the computer will be able to shade the frames quicker etc.

I know this might be noobish but what does the CE stand for when they say CE?

Theres allmost no leading now! Its so weird and it makes you change the way you play. And then F3 thing is a great idea
