Hey, I have a few maps with blank bitmaps, and no matter how many times I download, it always stays that way. So, is there a way to reskin maps?
What I'm saying is, I can't find a tool to extract and inject a .DDS file,
and I need to find one before I can even start making a map, just incase
I screw up a skin.
thanks

You don't do anything with .DDS in HaloCE.

oh, really? Wow, sorry, but if you know what to do, and/or how to do it, could you post it, or pm me?
thanks

You really can't skin Halo CE at all. all you can do is just create maps with skins that you have to compile yourself.

Yes it is possible to skin in Halo ce. First either extract the bitmap or make a whole new one. Save it as a tiff some where in your data folder and then compile it. Now move it and overwrite the bitmap you want to skin.
Make backups if you want.

No, you don't skin in Halo CE, you only add bitmaps. If you do skin it, you'll probably get an exception error.
