if my map was saved in levels\test\mymap

then i would type

tool build-cache-file levels\test\mymap\mymap

Tell's tool From the folder my scenario is in
to build map mymap\mymap.scenario


i dont know how to make it any clearer

You guys didn't even tell him about the command prompt part! Smart. Well... you have to go to start menu, all programs, accessories, and right click command prompt and go to send to>desktop (create shortcut) and then go to your desktop, and right click the shortcut and rename it. Rename it to tool or something, then go to its properties and under the shortcut tab and in the start in (not target) box, type the path to your halo custom edition directory.

Now to compile the map, open the shortcut and type tool build-cache-file [insert path to scenario file directory here (for example, you could type levels\test\tutorial\tutorial (you don't have to type .scenario) for the tutorial level)].

O_O umm i extracted the tags.....from hek can someone tell me how to edit normal maps without making my own cause i dont feel like making my own i just wanna mod the other ones but i wana use sapien and shiot anyone gotta link or tut.../ greatly apreciated
