Single Player Map not loading

Hello, I have downloaded some Halo CE SP Maps (Like Endurance for example) and put them into my map folder. Then I run the game, open up the console then type with out quotes "map_name endurance", but it will not load.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Help is always appreciated.

Try map_name_endurance as opposed to map_name endurance

no it has to be sv_map endurance

you forgot sv and u dont need name

I don't think it's working.
When I run the Halo Console I get this message first.
"WARNING: sv_name unspecified in init.txt. defaultung to Halo"
Does that mean anything? And do I run the colsole before of after I start up CE?

k so you have console set up?

While at the main menu, press the "~" key and just type this in:

Code: Select all

sv_map endurance

and it should work. its as simple as that[/code]

It's not doing anything.
I pressed the "~" key and it didin't do anything. I typed it in too and pressed enter and it didin't do anything.
I also tried a custom UI file and that didin't work.
Man whats wrong with my CE?

You dont have your console set up correctly if at all then. Right click your halo CE icon on your desktop and go to the target thing (i forget the name)

Uh oh, its late here and im not even on a windows comp right now and i forget the names of everything, Basically in one one of the boxes hit the spacebar and type -console.

Im sure someone who knows the details can post, i have to get to bed. Sorry.

Right click on your desktop shortcut to halo and go to properties. Then in the target box add -console or -console -devmode after all the other stuff in that box. Start up halo. Now hit the ~ key its to the left of the one key type map_name endurance or whatever the maps name is and hit enter, press ~ to turn the console off. And no its does not have to be sv_map endurance...

It says the specified Target box is not valid.

it should say something like this in the next to target:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\haloce.exe" -console -screenshot
