Some maps not working

Ive downloaded some different maps, some work others dont. Coldsnap and hugeass, for some reason, i can play in LAN by myself, but the guns, vehicles, and my body dont show up but the guns and vehicles are still driveable... also the HUD changes...
but i cannot connect to any servers hosting them...
some1 suggested downloading HEK, i did, and still it doesnt work, i dont have this problem for any of the H2 mods for CE or WTC.
At first i thought that the files were corrupt, so i redownloaded then, 3x each, still i get the same thing...
