Questions is what I have....

1. How do I make a map? I have milk shape, but im not that good yet...
2. How do I add weapons to the map I make, and vehicles....
3. How would I add scenery?
4. Anything else to mapping?


I dont want a 'Use google' reply. I have... I got to the 987th page and quit....

if your tryin to put new vehicles into HaloPC good luck with that cuz it usually gets an exception eror. If you want to add new weapons its gonna take real long and hard work. If you want to add scenery just PMI it.And if your trying to make new maps, then i think this belongs in the HaloCE section. last but not least wrong forum, sorry.

1. You cant make a map for Halo 1, Just Edit it or get Halo CE

2. You cant make a weapon just use milkshape to edit the model and put it in that works also with vehicles

3. you add scenery by PMI ing it from other maps and placing it in with HMT/HHT/SparkEdit

4. Mapping is very scarce in HPC modding, all we do is change around things using AI and change models using Milk Shape, I myself like to creat things that are out of the ordinary, Like My (really small but out of the ordinary) supersnipe and my skin (a different look (like changing the grass red or the sky green) for something using bitmaps ) craplag...All you would need is in the files forum. If someone could get a link to the modders dream thing with HMT/HHT/SparkEdit and stuff that would help.

there we go, well milkshape isnt good for making maps. Once you download HCE you will have all you need exept a good 3d modling program I suggest 3DS MAX or gmax (if you can find it) and get the good plugins for it.
