HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

The problem that HaloCE has is the player amound online.But what you see is there are only 22 Servers but you could see more if you got more maps.You can only see server wich play a map that you have in your map folder.So my point is we could make a Map-Package with 10 mof the best maps and give them to download so veryone can see more and better servers.
Do you like the idea?

Yes. Wait a few though for yoyorast to ocme out, and perhaps Core or something. If they take too long you can start choosing.

Perhaps you can ask people to state what they think is a great map, and their reasoning.

I mean like make a poll with all ok maps that came out and the best 10 will be in a rar package.I think the package will be 30MB maybe with my method ad of course yoyorat will come in.It will be perhaps like the mod of the month poll

Before making the poll, find out the peoples favorites. Because when you make a poll, they are only limited to those few options, not the 200+ maps there really are.

i think everyone can give a name of a map (and link) he\she likes and then i will make the poll

200+ maps pie? ur being to nice. there are easily over 350 publicly released amps, and deiciding which ones are worthwhile playing limits it down to about....maybe 100

ANd the good maps, there are only about 7 or so.

when i put see all servers i havent ever sen more than 80...

there are about 15 maps that are really good
i suggest just every month make a new map pack and then to pick the maps sticky a topic with about 30 good maps the week before the next month and the top 10 winning maps go in the next months map pack. that would help alot of new players on what maps to download.

i honestly think that halo ce does have good maps, i dont know why people are play regular

just give me the links of you rfavorite maps

And i can make a installer file so everyone doesn't has to copy the maps.There was a map ago where you couldfight with swors and kartana.How is it clled?We should put in New MOmbasa.

I'll mirror it, anyways, i don't think the h2 maps should be in there, only NMC and zanzibar (classic?) because the h2 versions are very unpolished and ugly. Too much hype breaks maps.

I'll give evryuone credit who sent me the map(s).Katarn:I didn't play the h2 maps so i don't how they look.But for the first map packge its ok.

really, they are the most popular maps, but they suck, people are just in denial, no offense to the h2 team, but they didn't produce the results expected. The idea of this is to take attention away from those 2 or 3 maps and introduce good ones that haven't had any attention of all.

ok i have all the maps except fisurefall and revolver can someone sent me them?and katarn whats the maximum of the filesize because newmombasa and zanzibar alone got 120MB so i don't know if i should take them out

i kinda agree just leave the h2ceteams maps out because everyone has thier maps it would be a waste
