Gmax problem

Gmax wont open up anymore! It used to work fine...but now it doesn't. I doubt that it's because of my new graphics card (A Visiontek Xtasy 9200 256mb PCI) But it seems that it used to work before I had it. I also might have a certain Windows service pack that could be blocking it, according to some people, but I have no idea how to check that out...I click on gmax and the timer will appear, but then nothing happens at all. I'm irritated, I had some new weapons to create, so please, can somebody help me?
