what should i type after ~ in the game to get campaign?

there is NO campaign in CE

actually, it's possible. You just have to have a SP map in the maps folder. When the UI comes up (multiplayer, settings, etc.), you bring up the console and type in: And yes, there is a SP map for halo CE, it's called desertplat. I don't have a link for it right now, but i know it's on www.halomaps.org (or .com, i don't remember exactly)

dude why the hell would you want campaine on ce? THERES CAMAIGN ON PC! And ce takes longer to load.

how do u bring up the console?im confused

for console right click on ur halo ce shortcut, then go to properties, and at the end of target put ' -console' (without the ' but including the space)

then when in halo press the key under esc to bring up pink writing, this is called the console, works for both pc and ce

ps there is one campigin map for ce its called desertplat or something like that, i cant remeber the command to use it, plus u have to dl it

Is there a way to use cheats like bump posession and bottomless clip in SP? I have CE and regular. Please use simple terms. Sorry for being a n00b.

actually you CAN use devmode by typing -devmode after -console in the target line... but you wont be able to go online again until you change it back

No, you CANT use devmode in Halo PC. You can in CE. It just not possible in PC, unless... is it?


I dunno, try adding the devmode and console things after the target for Halo PC (excuse me on not doing it myself, but my Halo CD is scratched and the sounds.map file is corrupt).


BTW, does anyone know is M$ is willing to send replacement disks if you can provide a CD key as proof of your copy?

yes you can because i did a long time ago, before CE even came out. All i know is spawning a hog ontop of an Elite or hunter is funny as hell

Whoa, whoa whoa.... you saying that devmode (as in typing -devmode and -console after a PC shortcut) is available to the PC? Not from HMT, but actually just like halo CE?

just put this in your target: "E:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -console -devmode. It should work, unless they changed it in the updates.
