PC to CE map conversion

I converted my modded map (PC) to a CE map and then placed in the CE maps directory but Halo CE did not register it as a valid map and gave me an error message saying the file was corrupt.

I am converting bloodgulch.map, when should i rename the map, before placing it in the folder?

You can't do that. The converter was to enable CE maps to be opened in HMT.

The coding is different in some ways, the the bitmaps are too, so, simply, it doesn't work.
