the main huge reason i wont allow people to do that is... if you had a legal copy you would be able to find a copy of cab one on the disc... and theres no way to corrupt a file on a disc

actualy, that is not true. recently, when i tried to reinstall halo pc, i got an error message when it got to sounds.map and when i tested the cab file, it said it was corrupt.

Smae thing on my OLD disk (good thing I copied an extra since my cousin LOVES to destroy) my bitmaps.map didn't work.

can someone send me the cab that has the bitmaps file in it? and if any moderators think that i am trying to create a bootleg cd, i will take a picc of my cd next to the computer screen with this thread on it. if anyone will be willing to do it, can u im me at coldblooded2029

best bet would be to just download the files on a P2P program... i know it is piracy if you dont own th game but if you own the game it is not piracy...

Absolutely DO NOT use P2P like Kazaa, or anything like that.
Spyware, adware, malware, viruses galore, it wont be your computer anymore.

well... if you know how to use P2P correctly you can... but never use kazaa... it has spyware... lots of it... i dont use them much but i like limewire
