To do this, you can get the converter, i dont know where it is... Or you can hex to open the map, and i dont know how to do this either, but you can... Try a search on GOOGLE

If you are trying to convert halo pc maps in to ce i think you use sparkedit to export the obj file then fix any errors it comes out with.

Well, he's trying to open a CE map. You can do the header trick, but it doesn't completely work. You can't rebuild or any of that and a lot of tags don't work.

So basicly trying is worthless.

Going in with a hex editor and finding similarities/difference isn't pointless. I'd say this isn't that pointless either, you can still do a few things with it. If you crack open the old hex editor and take a look you can find some things. How do you think they figured it out in the first place?

I suggest lookin for the map converter, which converts them to the pc version(but this is only for original maps, i think) and then when you are done editing, just convert back and wallaaa

People get scared with Hex editors. They dont know how to use them.Thats why I said its pointless. They would rather it be easy,or not do it at all.
