there are too many people cheating in halo ce. i was playing a game and somehow an enemy shoot me in the head when i was in a fast moving wort hog with lots of cover. and there are people who somehow find me and team mates when were hiding. cheating is becoming a problem. teh game i played last there was a banshee whore who wouldnt die. i put 2 full assult rifle clips into the guy and 1 pistole round and he didnt eving lose his shield. and once i had an active cammo and i was hiding in a good spot and i get sniped i was in a covered area that is extremly hard to get in. the largest problem is noobs and banshee whore. thoes deticated server need to lose the banshee. im just wondering how someone snipes me when im jumping around and moving alot.some one set out an aim bot for ce and noobs have it. people keep putting full pistole clips in my head when im moving fast and around. CHEATING NOOBS NEED TO BE BANED AND TAKEN CARE OF. if you are hosting and have a person like that in your server ban them. its a shame i cant mod the game to help avoid noobs. all cheating noobs must die. also something needs to be done about all the lag. my delager doesnt work anymore because of the extreemly high pings.

my online names are church + and the_driver. im a goodplayer so if you see me and i kill like 25 guys im not cheating im just good.

lmao too, the sniped while cloaked thing is due to the sniper having an older graphics card. Instead of not seeing anything he sees a blue colored guy that's hard to miss. and the headshot while driving, i've seen it done, i've done it myself, and i've been a victim.....it happens. Banshee whores are always gonna be around, Become a banshee hunter and show them who's really boss. Pistol head shot thing.....they're just good. You have to understand that the majority of the really good players from Halo PC switched to Halo CE a while back. It takes time, but you'll get used to it. Oh yeah and about cheating, it's damn near impossible. The reason CE takes so much longer to load than PC is because when started CE looks at all your maps so when you join a game it makes sure everything on your map matches what's on the server's map; therefore, cheating is practicly impossible.

agreed...im a good sniper and i have a ati 9200 video card set on 800 x 600 res with a 800mhz 330ram comp i see cloaked people all the time because of my computer. Down side is i can only play iwth people no more then 10 in a server because my computer lags (not the server). As far as lagging ...im on cable and havn't found much problems with it unless the server itself is acting funny. There are none (or next to none) cheating on halo or ce. People who say that just aren't very good OR havn't been playing halo for awhile...(sorry for the insult but its true).

I was like that when i first joined thinking there is "aimbot" and such. But truth is they are just really good. Im like that now (not to gloat) and i amaze myself where people think i cheat. I tell them its a fluke and tell them exaclty what i did they usually understand if they look at my deaths and it proves i can die.

So heres some answers to your gaming. First always move (unless yoru in a good spot which there barely is any or if you have back up). Standing still is an easy target you say you have hiding places, most likely we know them so they arent very good, keep moving they tell you that in the army also..(take a couple shots and/or kill then move!).

When being sniped (with sniper rifle), DO NOT JUMP! the worst thing you can do 9 times out of 10 if im sniping someone and then jump i kill them your easier shot when you jump because we know where you will land. (most people lead shots anyway because of lag).

Pistol thing..EH i hate em because they are so powerful...so yeah just learn to use pistol more and run in a sparatic (not set) pattern.

I can shoot a person in the head when riding ina hog... all you have to do is aim farther ahead then you would normally (about 2 halo feet), and aim high and unload.

The banshee thing...get over it, its like any other vehicle or weapon in the game you just have to learn its strengths and weaknesses, If you know the server has banshess and you know more then likely you will be fighting one do what i do, equip yourself with pistol, and assult rifle (or shotgun if they go for kamikaze move). ALWAYS use pistol first, when they are far away use pistol, then we they get closer unload with assult rifle, lead them into you so they try and "swoop attack" you and then jump to the left/right and unload assult rifle (3 shot burst). [if you notice how the flood fight in legendary in the end of halo thats how you should shoot yoru assult rifle].

If its a hog coming to you i suggest packing shotgun and pistol, same with shee pistol them from afar and if they try and run you over then shotgun them dodging them as much as possible, Biggest advantage of fighting a hog is higher ground (such in blood gulch where the blue base is there is a corner and a highest hill in the game) jump on the hill top, and wait for the hog to try and ram you, when he goes for it then you move out the way throw a nade at where he will land and continue fire with shotgun. What will happen 9 times out of 10 is that the hog (with lack of control) will ramp the hill and become airborn loosing all control allowing you an open target.

Ive gotten banned 3 to 4 times now already and its pissing me off because i got banned from my favorite server and they had no website to deal with such conflicts. So if you have an dedicated server first make absolutly sure the guy is cheating, first kick him...if he comes back and is still using cheat-like-behavior then you can ban him, but dont ban him because hes good thats crap.

saying there server had lag (yeah that was pretty stuipd to me too)

acidently tking (i had a hog and was looking for riders so i drove around our base for teammates 2 teammates respawned infront of or underneath my hog 5 times....with in like 10 secs) when i stopped the hog i apologized but i was banned anyway.

hmm well i beleive him cus with the banshee whores part cus i have done tha same thing church did and he didnt get hurt. also there was a hacker on my hat castel2castel server [not ded] and he was cheating and used the debug_camera_save and load and he did the cheat_teleport_to_camera thing and got the dual sords... so it has been done and when i s\witched to sidewinder he became a banshee whore and did NOT die even when we rocketed him, sniped him, pistoled, naded, and anything we did did no damage at all. so i agree with u 100% church.

Ive released a few trainers that allow you to use SOME dev cheats online if you are hosting.. (not inc. dev_camera)

I never really considered this much of a problem because EVERY1 on the server gains the effects and they can only be used if you are hosting a game (and in fairness, most real games should be played on servers, so the host doesnt have the advantage)

I also made another trainer that allows the use of all Dev Cheats online but i cannot release this to the public as it is dangerous.

ull find that people really cannot cheat online unless they are hosting, and even then, the effects are limited

Also about the guy who wouldn't die, if you were playing on his server he can use single player trainers!

Im not saying there are no exploits/cheats to halo ce im just saying they are unlikely as of now...not EVERYBODY is cheating..its not so bad like in halflife where a big percentage is cheating. The banshee thing with the guy on casel2casel i believe, but the other banshee thing i dont (sorry) banshees can be tricky but i believe they arne't much of a threat compared to anything else. They are just like fighting hunters on halo sp.

no i am a vary good player. i killed an entier base once. it was funny watching them fall 1 by 1. im am a vary good driver and i have never been sniped while driving except that one time. it was in new_mombasa were i found the cheating explained above. the guy was using a head shot trainer. when your in a covered area and you get sniped you know something is wronge. onece i was playing and a guy was using the devcamera and he teleported to my base took the flag and teleported bace to his. that realy pised me off. im not a noob i am realy good trust me. just try to play me in one of my mods.

well i got banned off one of my favorite servers HBOCOERCE ded server cuz my own team was shooting me and with my quick reflexes i thought it was the other team and i just looked back and threw a nade quickly and i accidentally tked 2 ppl
