i am guessing this person is using the tutorial, and got to the export stage. i got stuck on that too, and so i thank you too for the answer. but right after that step, it calls for you to delve into the devious depths of Dos. it says to 'navigate' to your haloce root folder, but typing in the destination of the folder gives me nothing. i will probably come up with some more n00b questions about the tutorials later so you can't say i didn't warn you

Arg. Dos is easy.
type 'cd' to change directories. 'cd..' will take you back a folder.

also, it is rather misleading as in the tutorial, they say they would be working with 3dsmax, and suddenly use gmax without telling us mapping n00bs that they did.

gmax can not export to jms... when it 'does, it just comes out as ____.jms.gmax/whatever chosen format
