Today, I went into a Game Crazy and talked with the worker there about different games. Then when Halo PC came up, he started talking about how bad it was with the netcode and such. But then I asked if he knew about Halo CE. And he didn't so I gave him the normal talk about improved netcode and custom maps. He then said he would like to download it and start playing again even start making maps.

So this is my idea, if we could inform workers in our regular gaming or electronics stores about Halo CE, then they would tell all the gamers that they see day to day.

Someone could even make a printable flyer that we could copy at kinkos and ask if the workers at the electronics stores would let us put them in a visible spot so every gamer could grab one. (Now I am not talking about 1000's of copies. Just maybe 30 or 50 then see what the workers say about the gamers reactions then maybe do more)

What do you think? The electronics stores are where most none-hardcore gamers go (and they are the bulk of the Halo PC players). Hey, we could even include burned cd's with Halo CE, HEK, and the top maps for 56kers or newbies who don't even use google

Tell me what you think. I think its a great idea and I give props if anyone has already thought up this idea.

dude grat idea i would do this but well i kinda dont have money as i am only 12 and dont get any allowance and no way in hell my parents will let me do this w/ ther money. but i will try to do as much as i can to help.

same here but im 13 no allowance etc... i think its a great idea though but i cant help

Putting fliers up is rather pointless, and really just plain nerdy. Telling the employees isn't too bad an idea and burning CDs is absoludicrous unless you're just giving it to someone you know who has it. I don't know about you, but I'm not gonna pay for other people to play CE just so we can get a patch which without a doubt won't contain SP tags, which is all I really want. Maybe a water fix for low end graphics card users, but paying for one more person to switch, no way.

dude copies at kinkos are like only a few cents a copy. and if i had some money then i would help.
