Was it done by finding the XYZ coordinates of the First projectile's impact/collision, than the second, and once the Player's XYZ matches that of either one of the "Portals" it teleports the player to the other "Portal"?

Made sense in my mind.

Yeah, the old version worked by, you shot the pp, and I think the app seaches for the decal and its co-ordinates. You press a button and it spawns a tele there. Same for exit.

I don't think it spawns teles, I think it moves existing ones to that location.

It would be possible but I couldn't do it because I don't know enough about ASM and I don't have a modded xbox in the first place. Xbox7887 could do this whole thing with ease.

It uses teleporters. My app doesn't teleport the players.

Correct.

To be honest this is quite easy to do...other things like the gravity gun are way more complex.

yes, I know how it works and all, but I don't know how to us VB.net and my brother just took my edition for 05, so im stuck with vb 03. Not that its not better than nothin, just saying. I don't want to learn java and memory hacking if you can distribute it. I think we can all agree we are lazy at some points in our lives :lol:

I could give you something right now...but I know you people are going to complain because of some of the bugs...meh I'll do it anyways I guess.

Quick tutorial:

Extract the app somewhere you want.Make sure the folder portal_xml is in the same folder as the portal app.exe. Extract the map into the map folder obviously.

RUN HALOCE FIRST AND MAKE EITHER LAN OR INTERNET !!!CTF!!! GAME!

Go into portal_chiller and have some fun. Post bugs and suggestions if you find NEW ones...

Existing Bugs that need to be fixed:

1.After some times the projectile get's corrupted...multiple reasons...and DONT PICK UP THE RESPAWNING PORTAL GUN. ONLY PICK IT UP ONCE IN A GAME. IF THE PICKED UP GUN DOESNT WORK, WAIT FOR THE RESPAWN AND TRY AGAIN. THIS WILL BE FIXED.

THIS VERSION IS VERY BUGGY!
Other than that, have fun. You can even get some friends in.

Great job, I have one question though:

How do you close the application once it you are done with it?

I can't right click it and press close, there isn't an X that I can see that will close it, and if I close CE, it's a waterfall of error messages. I can just terminate the process, but it would be nice to have some way to close it without going into the task manager.

O ya if you want a source code so your program will scan the internet for a text file to see if its got any updates and if it does it will give you a download link just tell me.
