Have you tried using this script? BlueStreak is a script and it works for me all the time.

I wouldn't call it a 'little' script either. That can script is compatible with all version of 3ds Max 5+ and GMax.
yes i use bluestreak for small stuff but its not very reliable when it comes to Larger and higher poly maps. for maps that have higher poly counts and that are larger than a mile or so it crashes out frequently.

and by little i meant small file size lol
and ITS not compatible with all version of max and gmax. MAXSCRIPT is compatible with all versions of max and gmax.

im just saying its always best to go with the version that has the most support from the forum. and as 3ds 4 through 8 have the original AND the scripted exporters and importers. i feel that its safer to go with 8 or below.

btw when makeing a halo map u dont need all those "spucial features" all u need is a box, edit poly, a uvw map, and alot of time
Sig may not be animated.
Lol you got me in like 3 minutes!
Oh wait... I'm banned.... well not funny anymore...

Ya thats why i said 8. The only new feature I found in max 9 is pro boolean which also screws up the triangulation. Blitzkrieg is 500 times faster when it comes to exporting maps.
