at the tool stage

so i used 3ds max 08 for my map, meaning i didn't export as jms., like the tutorial did. i exported it as a FBX file. and my microsoft games folder is on my desktop. i realized that buy click on tool the program it wont open. so i really need some help. when it comes to the command prompt step i am completely lost.

thats a no-no. Search up bluestreak JMS exporter; its a max script, so it will work fine.


Anyways, when your ready to use comand prompt, just take notepad, write in all the comands you'll be using (like tool structure levels\test\<level> <jms>)
with a PAUSE as the last line so you can read threw everything tool said and then when your saving, go to the bottem drop box, and click all files, and save it as whatever.bat into your HCE folder, and then just run it.

well i searched for the bluestreak JMS exporter script and i could not find it. i was looking in the help search. I could export on 3DS.

my command prompt starts with
C:\Documents and Settings\Nick>

i can't erase that so i just
C:\Documents and Settings\Nick>\Desktop\Microsoft games\Halo Custom edition>tool

then an error message will come up
so i just open up the halo ce folder and drag tool onto command prompt
so when i do that it'll give me the list of commands

and from there i have no idea what to do. thanks
