I see how most people use 3ds max to model however its over

Gmax is free so i could use that? to make the bsp
do i need a plugin if so could i have that too

you will need bluestreak too export the bsp. you can get it in teh utilitys section

ok i have know got everything running
ive got the script for the jms file
so know i create my bsp model
however
i have a popup about the jms editor
so once ive made my map what do i do ,how do i export it using this script so my bsp works and i can compie it etc

there is a in depth tutorial on map makeing that comes with HEK its in your halo ce directory. read through it.

i kniow how to make maps tags models etc
just when ive made my bsp how do i export it with bluestreak what do i do with it?

I forget exactly how Bluestreak works, but if it doesn't automatically create a JMS file for you, then it'll probably write it to the MAXScript. Download Chimp, and use the grablistener program (with gmax stil open) to save everything on the MAXScript listener to a JMS file. Make sure you put the .jms at the end of your file name. And finally open the file in notepad, and at the top delete everthing down to and including "*****Start JMS File*******", and at the end of the file delete everthing under and including "*****End JMS file********".
