I will explain the back story a little.
When the forerunners (The forerunners are a collective that can merge as a singular being) created the halo to keep the flood in they also made Gaurdians to protect the halo, these gaurdians were put on a planet just outside the Halo and that planet was cloaked by the forerunners so nobody would ever know of their presence.
For thousands of years the Gaurdians kept a watchfull eye over the Halo waiting for any sign of trouble, but as the years went by the Gaurdians became restless and started waring amongst themselves, so the forerunners decided that it would be better to put the gaurdians into a dormant stage than destroy them, so a system was set up on the halo that froze all life on the planet and effectively 'turned off' the gaurdians.
The forerunners then left the Halo to find the source of the flood and stop them from ever spreading across the galaxy, but to this day no-one knows if they succeded.
Events later followed which saw the destruction of the Halo and the Flood contained within it, but with the Halo destroyed the system the forerunners had set up to keep the Gaurdians dormant had been destroyed.
The Gaurdians Have now Awoken............
Yea yea, I know im not very good at storys but I just want to know how viable this backstory is, does it make sense or does it contradict anything written in the books (Ive never read the books, hell I never finished the single player
) I just need a bit of feedback on whether it makes sense or not.
