Hey all, ok...I'm NOT getting any errors compilation wise, sapien or anything else, but my fog does not appear to visible.
Heres what I got so far....
- 1 plane (2 faces) facing down (purposely) just above the ground and is larger (area wise) that the level
- 1 standard material of a grayish color named "+unused!$" nested in a multi/sub-object
- 1 shader called "level.fog" (no flags checked) with respective density values of [1, 0.1, 0.15 and 0] in the root folder of my level
- 1 fog palette named "level_fog" in sapien with level.fog applied
- and in sapien under "Cluster Properties\Fog" I chose "level_fog" and the plane is showing green inside sapien. After the final compilation however I see no fog in the game.
I figured I had a pretty good idea on how to get in my level based upon "HEK_Tutorial\index.html" that comes with HEKSetup as well as all comments posted around here from everyone else but apparently not.
Any ideas, suggestions, notices of any mistakes, help or what have you is greatly appreciated guys so thanks in advance.
p.s. 1 question I have is I'm basically supoosing that you should NOT see any kind of actual fog in sapien just the green edges right??
- thanks.
fog not showing up
yeah, that actually hit me also today but it's not the case..I also want to mention that I looking for dense fog (not just a thin layer).
I downloaded "Quagmire by Molkien" the other day and am looking for this kind of feel atmospheric-wise.
So I'm wondering...is it in the tag settings or what cause it does show in sapien as a part of the level but it's as if it's just a thin layer of air you can barely see.
?!?
