It comes in handy to have almost everything you know already laid out nice and pretty.

Ok, so i modeled a new weapon in Max. made a director in data
Weapons\Plasma_sword
in there i put models (didn't really need physics or bitmaps cuz i was getting the else where).
In the tags directory i made a Plasma_sword folder under weapons. In there I put the bitmap tags i used, and the shaders.
Now I export as a .jms. When i go to export it says nothing then the next command line comes up.
All it says is that toolbeta.map glitch thing.
can anyone tell me what im doing wrong?

It sounds like you are trying to export it through tool

But if it says 'no geometry to export' in 3ds max then make sure you attached the model to the frame. And you shoudnt make a new folder in tags, you need to do the bitmaps verb in tool to get the directories created and the right bitmap file.

Use a chicago shader that gives off a nice blue glow!
