anybody have a more detailed tut on how to open old maps?

In Sepian?, cuz in the FAQ it didn't explain how to make it editable with HEK (just in HMT)

I belive you can't :( :( :( But I'm not sure. For all I know, the closest method is to nick the mesh/textures using a program like sparkedit, then re-align all textures in 3DS, create new shaders etc.. and Load up into sapiens.

Im a noob tho, so if Im wrong, please feel free to enlighten me ;)

the prob is i don't have 3DS and i suck at 3D progs anyway, i just wanna add bots to the old maps, theres gotta be a way to do it

Sorry man, I think its impossible to get the original maps into sapiens unless you do it the hard way, ie: export the mesh & textures, and re-skin the whole map in 3ds/guerilla etc...

If you look at HEK FAQ it also says this is 'impossible', however nothing seems to be impossible if you put in enough time and effort. Just it wont be easy Im afraid :cry:

u cant onc its compilled u cant un compillel it SRRY but there is a program call g max witch is like 3ds max little brother but it works just as well so go do a sherch for gamx and download it beouce its free

hey in the files forum theres this guy who posted a topic called 'bloodgulch : the aftermath' in which he edited BG, im sure hes got a BG editable with hek there, if not, im sure if u asked niceley hed do it for you.
