Ok well for some reason tool wont compile my bitmap as an explicit alpha. Even though I save it as one it still makes it a transparency. It never gives me that warning that it talks about in the tutorial. Someone please help, so I can finish this map.

if it doesn't give you the 1 Bit Alpha is greater than DXT1 thing, then your fine, dont' worry about it

I got that problem too before I realized I wasnt creating an alpha channel and merging the layers. You have to do this in Paintshop Pro. Download it from www.jasc.com
