Right I will make this as straight forward as I can.
follow these steps and you will be sorted.
1 . follow mattp001 tutorial on importing scenery (if you dont know how to do it)
2 . once your piece of scenery is indexed load up guerilla and open your piece of scenery's Collision_geometry tag.
3 . look in the 'Body' subfolder and in the box for 'Maximum body vitality' enter a number for how tough it is (50=about one pistol shot).
4 . just below in the same subfolder in the box for 'Body destroyed threshlod' enter a negative number (-1,-2 ect)
5 . scroll down to the 'Materials' subfolder and in the box for 'Body damage multiplier' enter a positive number (typically use 1)
Then when you compile your map you will have breakable scenery, EASY!!!
I will post a tutorial on how to do effect tags next.
Quick tutorial on destructable scenery
No Axeman, that sort of stuff is excellent, nice 1
Too many people are all to keen to download tutorials & files, and not enough are willing to actually submit anything. I have added some brief tuts to this editable, free-for-all site:
http://wiki.fpsgamers.se/halo
(Tuts at the moment by me include Custom Skies (WIP), Making Textures Tileable (WIP), Creating Terrain in MAX, Fixing Tool errors (wrl files) etc..)
I will be adding more, when I have time, and obviously, when I learn more (!!) mostly about modelling & creating textures tho, but it seems more people are interested in the guerilla/sapiens side of things.
