land\water vehicles?

land\water vehicles?

is it possible to make a vehicle that can run on dry land like an ordinary tank but then have it float and move in water? if so care to explain?

I'm pretty sure that you make water vehicles with banshee barriers but I'm not sure.

the way tiamat did it is very logical. About 3 feet below the water you put a collision only material.

but then wouldnt the player also be able to walk on the collision part of it?

thacks for the responses, every time i went to check this post, the site was down or having errors.

so to do that, it would have to be something you add to the map, not the vehicle?

also i was messing around with the physics and was wondering about the 'water lift' box and 'water friction' box in the powered mass points box. if i add masspoints at the waterlevel and use those boxes, would that work?
