Alright, I have the Wireless Intellimouse Explorer 2.0, it has a middle button of course. I open the tutorial map in Sapien but when I hold down the middle mouse button, I still can not use the camera controls. Is this a problem with how the mouse is configured? I know there is nothing wrong with the actual mouse it is extremely new and works fine on everything else. What is wrong?

Goto the mouse settings and select just Middle Button for what the Middle Button does, then it should work. While holding down the button tap the Shift button twice, that's a good speed to go at.

I don't know what you mean by select the middle button for what the middle button does but, in Microsoft Mouse, the wheel button or middle button, same thing right?, it is set at the default, Next Window. So, when I use the middle button, it goes to the next window, it does not function liek it is supposed to in Sapien.

those mouses, and many other wireless mouses have that problem, there is not really any fix to them (that i know of), its been stated with the logitech wireless usb mouse, the microsoft wireless mouse, and others, for many games and programs, so i recommend not using a wireless mouse.

Hi Mafiafan123
I was having the same problems. I've got an Intellimouse 4.0 Explorer (not wireless though) although I couldn't use the middle button, so as far as I was concerned, Sapien was just useless.
The fix is:
1. Open Control Panel
2. Select Mouse
3. Make sure you're on the [buttons] tab.
4. You should see the various button settings (default ones) [button assignments].
5. Set the middle mouse button set to 'autoscroll'.
6. Apply / Save Mouse settings
Once set you should be able to click the middle mouse wheel/button and be able to scroll.
I can tell you I was really chuffed cos I was a few mouse clicks from uninstalling Sapien & HEK and tossing it into my Windows TrashCan.
Hope it works for you
