where the hell is th MC reference object?

in the tutorial it makes you import MC for height reference. i cant find it.

dude, i right clicked the "halo custom edition" folder and ran a search for *.max, no luck.

there aren't any 3dsd max files... there's a plugin for 3ds max so it can read and export files for HEK, but they're not .max file types. And .max is actual scenes, and with HEK you'll for the most part be dealing with models eg. .obj or .3ds. Unless ur building an entire map in 3ds max of course...

He's talking about the master chief reference .max file, which is suppose to be there but isn't (or at least not for me). To get it I would just open the tutorial.max file and delete everything but the master chief reference and then save it as master_chief.max.
