HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I downloaded the XP adpcm codec, and installed it. When I open up goldwave and create a voice recording, it doesn't show the proper format, Windows PCM 16 bit mono. I can however make it in 22050 hz. I read another tut. the other day and it said I'm suppose to save in Microsoft PCM format, but I don't see that either. could it possibly be because I have Windows XP Home edition?

Here are the save options, Under Windows Media Audio, it does not allow for a PCM format.

i think that u have to inject the sound in HMT, then extract it in HEK+

The problem I'm having is that I can't get the file to save into the proper format. I've read atleast 10 different tuts on it, and I still gon't get it, I'd much appreciate anyone's help.
