tool help.

well i can't open tool in HEK. i click it a command prompt opens and close in a second and it doesn't stay up like it sappose to. so it looks like a flash of light. any ideas why this is happening?

you have to open it through the command prompt, "cd X:\(halo ce directory)", tool.exe"

for some reason my command prompt won't read spaces when i enter directories why is this?

You can't have spaces. Either have a "-" or "_" instead of a space. It denotes a space as the file not the rest of the folder.

new title and new problem. what's wrong now? some times it looks like the top and most of the time it's the bottom cmd.what's wrong?

i forgot to give the model a material id. and i tried it this is easier for me. i don't like tool++ i got it to work.

If your missing a shader in tool++ it automatically fills all the spaces in until your system crashes.

I keep getting this error in tool (and in tool++) where it says:
### ERROR couldn't update edge #965 (red).

What does this mean and how do I fix it. I went in Gmax (i use gmax) and used the [select open edge] button and there weren't any open edges... :?: :?: :?:
