tool error...

When I put in a bitmap in tool (Cmd prompt) it said:
==>WARNING!! failed to open TIFF: unsupported bits per sample <16> or sample count <3>

And it always says: couldn't read map file ./toolbeta.map
but it shows up in all the HEK stuffs so that is usual I expect

Tool++ always comes up with the same unsupported bitmap message. so, wtf mate?

I'm new and I'm making a map, so you'll see a few help topics from me here and there...

It always says "could not read ____beta.map" for every HEK tool.

Lol, upon reading your topic title I thought you were talking about the "partial nudity" error in the H2V tool error. Whew!

All I remember is that is was character-by-charaacter copy of something in a tutorial, only I replaced the name, which was the right name.
