Help with Creating a Bitmap set

Post by Jabba_Wok »

I'm involved with a university project to create a halo map. We are looking at ammo counters on some of the weapons. I understand how to use the counters, but i wish to use my own counter designs instead of the "numbers_plate.bitmap" and "flamethrower_numbers.bitmap" tags. I've tried setting my filenames into sequence but alas the tool.exe creates them as individual tags.

eg
numbers_plate1.tif
numbers-1.tif
numbers1.tif
numbers_01.tif

they just wont compile in a single "numbers.bitmap" tag.

has anyone had success in compiling multiple .tif's into a single tag?

you make a blue sheet of any size, place each bitmap on it with acleast 1 blue pixel between them (now, remember.. it MUST, MUST be PURE blue) then tool will compile them into one bitmap tag with multiple bitmaps within it.
Wow.. I havnt updated any of my stuff here since like 2 years ago.. lol

Thanks for that. Now we can make some nice Onboard huds for our weapon systems.
