how do i add skins that people make.how do i make skins.i need help seriously!i dont want to be a serious modder just a skinner maybe acouple new vehicles here and there especaily with how busy i am so howw do i do it if i wanted to create or skin vehicles.

download GIMP
get the .dds plugin,
export a skin to a .ddswith HMT,
open in gimp
edit it in gimp,
export it in gimp,to a .dds
inject the .dds over the original in HMT and save
done

Have you noticed this is CE?
Well I don't know if you have to do the same thing. I don't mod CE. It does not work for me.

oh lol i was thinking of PC since you said "skining" so heres a second tutorial.
make a image and save it as a tiff too levels\test\stuff\bitmaps\image.tif
then gointo tool and use teh command tool.exe bitmaps levels\test\stuff\bitmaps
and it will make your bitmaps
also the image must be either 512x512 or 256x256 or 16x16 for it too work.

ahhh im just going to start makeing maps now instead of skinning and figure it out on the way

ya thats probaly the best way too learn thsi complicated command prompt junk.

thanks now i need to find a descent chimp to hook my hek into gmax. i treid one and it screwed up everything my computer kempt crashing for days.
