ok im working on a new solo map for halo. but im haveing problems with sapein and AI. when i make command lists the marine only folow some of the commands. for example. a marine will do a dive roll on cue but he wont goto a position... and he will also run i a direction for 3 seconds but he wont get in a vehicle. i think this has something too do with swarms but i dont know how they work. can some one explain a bit too me how this works??

and for my second question. is there a way i can get the scripts that bungie used too make ai's drive on a path like the banshees in the second level of halo? is there a way too extract these and look at them and figure out how they work? that would be nice.

ok so anyone can help me with this that would be great.

also would makeing AI in a MP map cause any problems or should i convert this too a SP map too make it work better?

Actually I don't think the shees in Halo followed a path. They probably just spawned some shees with elites in em and the elites just circle around and try and kill you. Maybe they did need a little help... I don't know.

no... they are on a path. have you ever seen a elite drive a banshee thats not scripted... its scary. if you need a mental image here you go. An elite that is so drunk he cant remember which way is up and hes trying too fly a banshee with the pedal too the floor and no brakes. that is how bad they drive they cant even avoid the wall or the ground. i know they are scripted and i need too know how too script more of them.

Is their a way too extract scripts out of halo maps? that would give me something too build off of.
