plasma pistol charging light/effect change

i've searched guerilla and i want to know howtochange the plasma pistol charging effect from green......

i want to change this to a different color, where do i go in guerilla to change the color of that effect

i thiknyou can open up HMT...extract the plasma multipurpose decal glow or whatever its called....open it up in photoshop....magic wand select it and inject a new color...then reinject it into HMT for the original...ima try it myself

ok...

i opened HMT...went to

plasmapistol/weapons/bitmaps/chargedcontrail

and opened that inphotoshop...change it to blue when fired.....im not sure how to get the initial charge blue....but workingon it

ok....ive tried everything....all you can do is change the color of the bolt when it is fired....i changed to blue and there is a blue stream behind it mixed with the green.....looks kinda cool....but the charge is green and the splat against an object is blue and green

Im not trying to do stuff with Halo PC with HMT, im using guerilla and i need to know what tags control that initial charge effect

This is CE not PC chalupa.

You can change the glow colour somewhere, but I'm not sure where.

goto the Plasma pistol weapon folder. find the tag thats bolt.light_volume in that tag you can edit the RGB color of the light.

although that might not be exactly the right light it could be any of the .light or .volume_light tags in that folder.

I'll look but i do not think it is in there, remember i am not trying to change the plasma bolt, but the charging effect.

ok heres another idea.

open the plasmapistol.weapon and look under attatchments and find the light chargeing attatchment.

I did. and its a sound_looping not a light :(
