WTF

Whenever I try to spawn a sentinel, monitor or sentinel, doesn't matter, as soon as I make a new encounter to make em spawn it closes sapien. Then if I save the scenario before I try to spawn them, then open the scenario up again, it closes out after sitting there after its usual half a minute of loading.

WTF is going on!? I want to spawn some sentinels but it doesn't work.


EDIT: I have another question-is it possible to convert scenario_structure_bsp tags into a format usable in 3ds max or Gmax? I want to edit hang em high and delete some of the little pillar things or "bumps" on the floor.

Check your debug.txt to see the problem with your AI.

That's what it said. And thanks for the converter but I have no idea how to even delete certain faces and stuff in a level :( I'm such a nub :x

The only way I know how to fix that is reinstalling HEK (maybe CE too I forget), but theres probably another way I just never bothered to ask.

If my problem is with the tags, then reinstalling CE or HEK will do nothing. The tags that come with HEK do not include sentinel AI tags, and I'm extracting my sentinel tags from PC campaign levels, so something might be wrong with my campaign levels. Any opinion? I want to get some stupid sentinels in my map...

the problem with the monitor and sentiel is the animations file is not set up correctly try to delete their tags and reextract does the job for me.

yea warlord is right alot of time tags get extracted.... incorrectly and cause sapien too crash. its happened too me alot of times trying too get bloodgulch and other mp maps too open in sapein. just delete the tags that get corrupted and try too extract em again.

Ok I extracted the model animations tags and the sentinels work, but the monitor's still screwed up-what's wrong?

there is some monitor animation tags on CMTs site or something.. why dont you google that? I havnt ever needed the monitor lol, why do you want him? the setinels alone are good enough :wink: sentinels rule
