argh, need big help with tool

my tool wont completely open, ill double click it and it opens for about half a second then closes. this happens ever time. no mater what. ive shut down comp and tried again numerous times. can sum1 tell me wahts wrong and how to fix this? i really want to get my first map done. oh and i have tool++ which doesnt use a command prompt but i have no idea how to use it to do the actions that tool does. if somebody could make a tutorial (vid) of how to use tool++ to do everything tool does (including u talking me through the steps plz) i would be very thankfull.

Tool is a command prompt based program, and you have to run it through cmd.exe. To make it easy to use, go into your C;/windows/system32 folder and find cmd.exe. Then copy and paste it into your halo ce root directory, so all you have to do is type tool <command> <directory>.
