What I wanted to do, is make a specail animation for the MC, then show it in a cutscene at the beginning of the map. Would I be able to do that?
P.S.: Sorry I've been away guys, its been a rough time for me lately.

Oh comon people. I help you, you help me right?
I guess this could be 2 questions.
1: How do I make a cutscene at the start of the new map.
2: How do I make a new animation for the MC (New BIPED Maybe?), and then stick the new BIPED into a cutscene?

But how?
I cant even find the "start making animation" button in 3ds 8 >.<
And what guerilla and tool stuff would i have to do?
The sapien stuff for sticking the MC in the created cutscene?

To get the biped you open the gbxmodel in guerilla and click file - export then save it as .txt somewhere. Then you gotta get a script for 3ds max to import gbxmodels.txt
here. Then you put that in your script folder in 3ds max and run it and load that file. Then load press Import Nodes / Markers, then check Import vertex Weights (Rigged Model) is checked, and press import model, wait for it to finish. Then Save it as something. Open up your map, place your model where you want it to start, press the animate button on the bottom(I have 4.2 so I'm not sure what newer is like). And then set the frames to how much you want, I think with halo its 30 frames a second when you export it.) and animate it for what you want it to do in the level then export it as an animation,I'm not sure if you have to hook it to a frame or not, I think you might have to link the biped to the main bone that moves it all. Then export it as animations, compile it in tool. Copy the biped a rename it to cinem01.biped or something. Then just change the animations to the ones you made. and I'm not sure what you have to do in sapien.
Edit: Sorry I can't help anymore, new southparks on 5 min.

When in doubt, search halomaps and google; use the search feature as well.
