Ok...

so i recently tryed bsp extracter v2.5 too extract bloodgulch too a .obj. i was hopeing that it would extract the skybox so i could actually export it too CE but it did not.

so i am asking how the fuck do i get bloodgulch or any other map into 3ds 8 and it actually have the skybox so i can export. plz someone explain this.

dude myth you jsut did break the rules, read the date. that was 24 day bummp, 2 weeks is most, so y dont you read the freakin rules, also dont try and get around the curse filter.

But heres how to get it in .3ds (my way and it works, except you'll have to do bitmaps your self).

Extract the BSP with HEK + open the BSP file in HEK BSP Converter 2.0 and extract it as on .obj to where you want. Then use any program that can Impoert and export .obj's and .3ds's and export it as a 3ds(I use anim8or). Import it into 3ds max, select all the vertices and weld them. Then you have to fill in the invisible walls and roof yourself.

I'm not sure if you'll have to use anim8or but I only have 3ds max 4.2.

ok well... my point was is there a program taht actually exports the skybox cause theres no way im going too make a new skybox for BG.. that would be uber boring

(i would have replied earlyer but my freaking harddrive crashed and it was a week before i got a new one X(

You just gotta seal the roof of it, then skin it.
