Does anybody know if it is possible to do smart terrain or use the smoke map in gmax, and if so how. Thank you.

I don't know how, but I just looked it up:

It looks like a really nice alternative to displacement mapping.

But sorry, I don't know. I've never used Gmax .

ive tried using gmax but cant find a smoke map. So I was wondering if anybody new about a plugin or something for gmax. Also one more thing, when you make a box is it possible to make just the bottom of the box have 50 length and width segments. Thanks
