Fixing Errors in 3ds Max

ummm....k

so i exported the .jms file and got some open edge errors so
i went back into 3ds Max and imported the .WRL and i found
which edges were making the error.

Now, I know you have to delete the edges and recreate
them, but that's where i'm confused (i dont know how to
recreate them right) :?. I looked at the Hek errors for new users
thread but it didnt help.

can someone clear this up 4 m3h :x

Under face edit mode, click create. Join the 3 vertecies in a triange, and make it going COUNTER CLOCKWISE. :)
