Ok, Im working on a new map for halo ce and i have gotten as far as creating the .tif file for the ground image and created the map model and exported as .jms. But when i go to use tool to create the bitmaps for the .tif file it gives me errors in the command prompt, It says

"couldnt read map file'./toolbeta.map'"
==>!!WARNING!! Failed to open .TIF: File does not exist>==

My friend made this in paintshop pro and we followed the video tutorials exactly, he then sent it to me using a flash drive(I dont have paintshop pro on my computer if that matters) My friend saved it as a .tif-uncompressed-RGB which is exactly by the tutorial. We can not figure this out, can you please help us?

Make sure the filenames are the same (the one you enter in tool and the name of the actual TIF file).

Off the tutorial im using form kirk, it says you have to compile the bitmaps using the bitmap source-directory option. I wrote, tool bitmap levels/Escape-bitmap. Thats what i had originally written for this source directory, This came directly from the tutorial. Even when i used your method i wrote, tool bitmap levels/Escape/bitmap-escape_ground. It still showed the same exact error, Im not sure why this keeps happening but if you could please help me i would really appreciate it.
