Actor Varient... Holding air???

I have had a small problem that has been bugging me for a while in Sapien. Ok here goes...

When i try to change the weapon of an Actor.Varient, i look in game and the weapon is not there (looks like it is holding air lol) i have also tried changing the one in the biped file and still no luck. Is there anyway to change the Actor.Varient guns?

Its probly because the game wont render the weapon right on the biped, try loading it in halo ce and see if you can see the weapon , if that doesnt work its probly because they dont have the proper animatons for the gun , so you have to change the weapon string ID in gurilla and also are you using a custom weapon? or a normal weapon if your using custom its probly somethign in the model try fixing it if nothing else works can any AI hold it?
